Dr Ewan Richards

Ewan graduated from Bristol vet school in 2012 and has been working locally in mixed practice for the last three years.

Ewan enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery but particularly likes soft tissue surgery. He is co-owner of two rough coated lurchers (Ginny and Pan) who keep him busy at home and he enjoys exploring the local countryside with them. Ewan is an avid rock climber and is happiest when outdoors – scrambling or climbing up a mountain or sea cliff. He plays the violin (infrequently!) and can sometimes be found playing socially at folk clubs and open mic nights. Ewan is a keen cook and enjoys trying out new recipes and flavours.
