Mansion Hill Veterinary Practice has opened for business right on time, welcoming its first clients on 21st November, despite minor concerns that the extensive renovations of the premises would run over schedule.
Located on Main Road, Middleton Cheney, the practice had a great first week, welcoming 58 animals as new clients from friendly felines to high flying agility dogs!
“Getting the surgery finished was a bit touch and go for a moment as there was so much work to do to transform the premises into a modern veterinary practice,” says John Taylor, proprietor and veterinary surgeon. “But, our builders, family and friends all pitched in to ensure we were ready to open, as planned, last Monday.”
There are still one or two finishing touches to complete outside – with the recent cold-snap temporarily stopping play– but the surgery and car park are fully operational and there has already been some great client feedback.
“We’re now looking forward to welcoming visitors to our open day on Tuesday 6th December. “We aren’t booking any routine consultations or operations for that day, so we’ll be able to fling all the doors open and show off the in-patient area, prep-room and theatre.
“It’s important to us that our clients see all the facilities and the open day also provides a great opportunity for everyone to meet the team here and ask questions,” explains Mr Taylor. There will be complementary cake, tea and mulled wine on offer, as well as a prize draw competition to win a year’s free routine healthcare* for the lucky winner’s pet and a kids colouring competition.”
The Open Day will kick-off at 8.30am through until normal closing time at 6pm.
