Microchip your pet for £12.50 in June 09

National Microchipping Month is a campaign to encourage identification of our pets through use of a microchip. Throughout June 2009, to support the campaign, we’re offering microchipping for the special price of £12.50, just contact the surgery on 01295 712110 to make an appointment.

Microchips are invaluable for safeguarding our animals. “A good first defence for our pets is to fit an identification tag to the collar, but there’s always the risk these can be removed or may fall off. A microchip lasts a lifetime and is one of the only ways to permanently identify your animal,” John explains.

“With so many stray cats and dogs handed into the surgery every month, we are ardent supporter of microchipping,” he continues. “Microchipped animals are generally reunited with their owners in hours. Without identification, this process can take many days.”
