| New!! In house emergency service & equine care
From 1st Feb 07 we’ll be operating our own out of hours emergency cover and are also expanding to offer a full first opinion equine service. 1) Emergency Service: From 1st February, we will be running our ‘out-of-hours’ emergency service in-house. That means that if your animals need to be seen by a vet after normal opening hours, you will see John at our home practice in Middleton Cheney. Further details of emergency service arrangements can be found here. 2) Equine veterinary care: John is an experienced equine vet, having spent several years working with the Household Cavalry & Kings Troop whilst in the Royal Army Veterinary Corps and with pleasure horses and racehorses in and around Newmarket. We are now pleased to offer a full first opinion veterinary service for your horses, again from the 1st February 2007. The practice can offer almost all services that do not need hospitalisation, and has excellent relationships with local equine veterinary hospitals for those cases that require referral. In addition to first opinion consultations for injury and ailments, we offer: • Vettings • Dentals • Lameness work-ups • Vaccinations • Worming • Passport legislation advice • Microchipping • Breeding advice • Artificial Insemination John works closely with a range of complementary equine disciplines, including remedial farriery, equine dentistry, physiotherapy and equine nutrition. This means that all aspects of horse management can be included in a tailored treatment plan specific to the individual requirements of your horse. Enquiries If you have any questions, please contact us to enquire about any aspect of our equine services. 27/01/2007 Back to news archive |
